In the bustling city of Toronto, fashion enthusiasts gathered at Bellvue Manor back in March for the annual Schulich Charity Fashion Show, eager to see the latest styles from up-and-coming designers. The show brought together a diverse range of makers, from local designers such as Twinge, to big names such as Banana Republic, Marciano, and Ted Baker. Among the talented group of designers, we were proud to represent Zoehify as a vintage clothing brand. The show was an incredible opportunity for us to showcase our commitment to eco-friendly fashion while also promoting the beauty of clothing with past lives.
As we took to the runway, our collection showcased ten different looks featuring a curated selection of pre-owned contemporary and vintage clothing, spanning the modern era, as well as the 90s and early 2000s. Our pieces ranged from mid to high-end luxury labels, as well as unique one-of-a-kind vintage treasures. The audience was captivated as our models gracefully strutted down the catwalk, wearing styles inspired by the glamour of the past. The beautiful dresses and expertly layered separates were styled with stunning hairdos and flawless makeup by the incredible artists behind the scenes, transporting viewers to a bygone era.
Our creative director was thrilled to be part of the show's sustainability portion and promote sustainable fashion practices. "We believe in the power of mindful consumerism with an emphasis on quality clothing to create a positive impact on the environment, and we want to inspire others to turn towards slow fashion," she said. "Being part of the Schulich Charity Fashion Show felt like the first step towards a dream come true, and it was an incredible platform to showcase our offerings."
The show was not only an opportunity to showcase our collection, but it was also a chance to give back to the community. The proceeds of the show were donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation in Canada, making it an event that aligned with our brand's values.
